![]() The brightness of the panel is excellent at 483 lux. If you want to download our calculated test file, you can find it here and integrate it with these instructions. It is also gratifying that the manufacturer’s color mood is successful. These are good values for such a cheap notebook. Our measurement with the ColorSpyder almost confirms this information: According to the Spyder, 97% is covered by sRGB, 75% by AdobeRGB, and 75% by P3. The manufacturer states that the sRGB color space is completely covered. When watching videos, however, there are black bars at the top and bottom. The display has a 3: 2 aspect ratio and is therefore particularly suitable for office work. Individual pixels can no longer be seen with the naked eye. The sharpness of the display is significantly higher than that of normal displays in this price range with full HD resolution. This is excellent value for a laptop in this price range. The IPS display measures 13.5 inches diagonally and has 3,000 x 2,000 pixels, corresponding to 268 pixels per inch. Is there a catch, or is the Alldocube VBook a real insider tip?Īlldocube markets the book as a notebook for those who value a high-resolution and sharp panel. The manufacturer offers this complete package for little more than 240 USD. It offers a high-resolution 13.5-inch display with a 3: 2 aspect ratio, 256 gigabytes of SSD storage space, and USB-C. At that price tag, we can’t really complain about the lack of storage, average performance and battery life.Alldocube has established itself as a budget-class laptop and tablet manufacturer and has now introduced a new notebook. The Voyo VBook V3 retails for $239 (Php11,000) over at GearBest (free shipping but we had to pay about Php800 in taxes when it arrived). Intel Atom X5 Cherry Trail Z8300 1.44GHz quad-core processor ![]() It’s not bad but nothing impressive either.ġ3.3-inch full HD IPS LCD display 1920×1080 pixels The VBook V3 comes with a 10,000mAh Li-Ion battery which looks good on paper but on our actual use, we can only get around 3 or 4 hours of watching movies, around 4 to 5 hours of regular browsing on WiFi, and extend the battery life for MS Office work to about 6 hours. Your only remedy for this is using a microSD card and putting it in the slot permanently so you’ll have an additional 64GB or 128GB additional space for storage. That’s not much considering Window 10 takes up a bit of space away from that. Perhaps the biggest concern with this model is that it only has 64GB of internal storage. ![]() Looks okay for the most part but it’s not as bright as we wanted it and at full brightness, the colors are a bit washed-out. The screen is a 13.3-inch display with a full HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution. The Intel Atom X5 processor did not require the laptop to have any exhaust fan yet maintain a pretty cool operating temperature. The 1.66kg weight isn’t really ideal so don’t expect to be able to carry this around in table mode for more than a couple of hours. With the hinge that can rotate a 360-degrees, you can configure the laptop to various orientation to fit your needs - face flat on the table, tent mode, presentation more and tablet mode. The keyboard is nice and comfortable to use, does not have much flex while the trackpad is not the best, it’s just good enough and wide enough that you won’t itch reaching out for an external mouse. The 2MP front-facing camera is up top and the Windows logo below. Inside, the 13.3-inch display looks good, has a 10-point touchscreen with a nice, bright and crisp panel. The hinges allow to the lid to rotate a full 360-degrees so you can flip the screen into the tablet position. The laptop has a relatively thin profile although we think the 1.66kg weight is a bit on the hefty side, even for a 13.3-inch device. The speakers are found at the bottom side. On the left side are USB 2.0 port, audio port, microSD card reader, volume rocker, power button and screen lock switch. The right side houses the charging port with light indicator, USB 3.0 port, micro-HDMI port, microSIM card reader. This is the first time we’ve seen a rear camera on a laptop and the glass enclosure reminded us of the camera module of the Nexus 6P and LG G5. The Voyo logo is printed subtly in the middle of the lid with the rear camera just above it. The bright orange color extends all the way to the back. The outer surface has smooth, soft, rubber-like feel to it that effectively resist smudges and fingerprints. The design is eye-catching and the build quality is suprisingly good. This convertible laptop has the basic configuration of a typical netbook but the VBook V3 features some interesting features. We know very little about Voyo since they’re not normally released here but we had our review unti shipped from GearBest (listing here for $239) From the first time we unboxed this laptop, we thought it looked very much like the Lenovo Yoga with its bright orange color and acrobatic (convertible) fuctions.
